Learn more about me!

Born and raised in Windsor Locks, Connecticut, I picked up my love of reading at a pretty young age. When I was younger, I would refuse to go to sleep until my parents read to me. Reading is usually a chore for younger kids, but I have distinct memories of me rushing to get ready for bed so I can crack open a new Junie B. Jones book and use my super cool zebra book light. Now, as a college student, it is difficult for me to find time to read for pleasure but when I do, I usually finish the whole book in one sitting!

Throughout my teenage years and into my young adult life, I’ve read (and reread) some pretty remarkable books. Books where I couldn’t fall asleep without there being a light on, to books that forced me to put them down so I wouldn’t get the pages wet from tears. Reading has played such a big part in my life and I’ll never forget what I have learned from some of my favorite fictional characters. Throughout this blog I will post about some of my favorite books, book recommendations for different genera’s, and current articles about some popular book series. So grab a cup of tea, curl up with a cozy blanket, and enjoy!

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions on the books I recommend or if you want my opinion on any books!
